Net-A-Porter Summer Kit 2015

I have been ogling through, obsess over, stalked on Instagram, mildly interested in purchasing from Net-A-Porter and it was mid-July when I had actually clicked the link that would result in my own personal addiction of this online boutique. First and foremost, I would like to mention that the delivery was non-stressful and very very quick. I'm just putting that out there because time and time again, the late deliveries of certain websites (you know who you are) can be just so off-putting for me that I do not feel like repurchasing from the site again. 

Now that that is out of the way. Let's talk retail therapy. 

I was browsing through the Beauty Department of Net-A-Porter and my, oh my they have converted me into their beauty cult. By Terry, Chantecaille, HOURGLASS, Balmain Hair Couture .. the list goes on forever. Overwhelmed was an understatement. I clicked on their beauty sets tab (yes, that is very typical of a beauty junkie, guilty as charged) and almost immediately two words captured my eye...

... LIMITED EDITION .

Net-A-Porter comes up with a Limited Edition Beauty Kit every seasonal change, and I have purchased their Summer Kit 2015 that retails for MYR366.77 including shipping costs. But to sum up the actual value of each product you receive, (I'll do an individual price breakdown in the product list) the total cost was a whopping price of MYR953.40. I know. You saved up round 600 ringgit along the way.

There is a hefty total of 12 products with equally as hefty price tags. I find that I have managed to incorporate every single product that is in the kit besides the Swimcap Cream by Philip Kingsley and it is mainly because I don't swim on a daily basis. I find that the danger of buying edited kits as such is that you don't find yourself using all of the products. But with this Net-A-Porter curated edit, I find it very difficult to dislike a product! Here are some of my favourites of the bunch -




I especially love the tinted brow gel by Eyeko and the Hourglass liquid lipstick. Shown in the photo are the main products that have made it to my top shelf and I will be definitely repurchasing when I run out. I've actually just ran out of the EGF Serum which helped in smoothing my skin's texture and I am mildly addicted to it as it also calms down the redness in my skin and reduces pores. I will be doing a detailed review on these in a separate post as it is getting a bit lengthy as it is. Honestly this kit is perfect for all year round really (in Malaysia) as it is summer all year round ! I am glad I've purchased the kit because I've discovered a lot of cult products that actually caters for my skincare routine and managed to waltz through my permanent makeup kit. 

So the overall verdict : 5 stars
